HTC has “No intention” on settling with Apple

HTC’s chairwomen said that the company has no intention of settling with Apple, according to Asia-based reports. The report came up Wednesday in the Wednesday issue of Digitimes and other Asian based publications which have comments from Cher Wang, chairwomen of HTC. HTC “has great skills in innovation and has the confidence to face legal lawsuits with Apple,” Wang says according to Digitimes. She also states that the $1 Billion jury verdict against Samsung U.S.A “does not mean the failure of the entire Google Andriod ecosystem.” HTC and Apple have been in legals battles before. It was just March 2010 when Apple sued HTC over iPhone patents, in which the court ruled in favor of Apple. HTC has been suing Apple as well.
