Wikipad Gets A Delay, New Date To Be Announced Soon

wikipad

The Wikipad has just received a delay due to the team making last minute manufacturing changes to ensure the quality of the product. The Wikipad team stated that a new date will be announced soon and those of you that have pre-ordered the device at Gamestop today, the 31st, and prior will receive an upgraded bundle and a special bonus gift.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Wikipad, it is a $500 full throttle Android gaming tablet that packs some serious horsepower. Featuring a nVidia Tegra 3 Quad-core (1.4GHz) processor, Android 4.1 (Jellybean), a 1280×800 display, 16GB of flash memory, and other essentials that make on par and superior than the average tablet. Gaikai and PlayStation are on-board the device bringing exciting gaming possibilities that have yet to be seen on the Android platform. Most importantly, the tablet has a snap-on joystick with dual analogs that could support most gaming genres today.

We’ll keep you guys posted on the new launch date of the Wikipad when available   .

I don’t want to bore you guys with the chatter but I’m Brandon, Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder of Dual Pixels. I’ve always worked towards making Dual Pixels a fun entertainment media outlet without the stiff collars and nose in the air approach.
