Psychonauts 2 Makes Its Crowdfunding Debut

The original Psychonauts, while not a massive seller, amassed quite the cult following. There had been rumors, speculation, or intentions of a sequel. Double Fine, the original developers, and the game’s creator, Tim Schafer, have all said they would love to create a sequel to the 3D platformer. For the longest time, all of that was wishful thinking, until last night. At the 2015 Game Awards show, Double Fine unveiled the sequel to Psychonauts and their plans to help crowdfund the title. Using the new crowdfunding site, Fig, Double Fine is looking for $3.3 million by Jan 7th, 2016 to get the game on track.

You can check out the crowdfunding link here. The game is being planned for release on PC, OSX, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One.
