Rumor: Nintendo Creating New IP Called Eclair City

After a bit of digging, twitter user @pixelpar found a listing on the International Age Rating Coalition. This listing is for a title named Eclair City, which from all the info gathered, looks to be coming from Nintendo. Eclair City is rated PG/ Mild Violence and has a tentative release date of December 16th, 2017. This could seriously be a new IP coming from Nintendo all along.

Unfortunately, no platform is stated which means that there is the possibility that this could be a mobile or Nintendo 3DS title. Could this be a new IP featuring connectivity between all Nintendo Platforms and PC? Let’s hope! With a name like Eclair City, this certainly sounds to more like a codename. What do you guys think? Is this Nintendo just bluffing and secretly attaching names to existing titles? Sound off and let us know what you think.

Jose Estrella

Hey guys! I’m Jose the second half of Dual Pixels and your host of our Dual Pixels Podcast. I enjoy fighters more than any other genre because I grew up playing them when I was a wee-lad; literally Street Fighter 2 and a tall chair . Overall though, my top favorite games include Street Fighter 3rd Strike (Best game ever, obviously), Super Mario World (sorry folks it was better than part 3), and Super Ghouls and Ghost. I like a mix of everything just as long as a game has something unique or fun about it; and people, let’s not forget about the classics!
