They conquered the ‘hood. They conquered the city. They rescued Santa Clause. And they conquered the entire universe. But the party ain’t over for the 3rd City Saints. Johnny Gat has done many a heroic feat during his career. But there is one domain he has not conquered before: the domain of Hell. The real H, E, double-hocky stick and the one evil being that dominates it all. He is Lucifer, Satan, the devil himself. He has never been defeated by any warrior. But come this January, he will be challenged by the supreme lieutenant of the 3rd Street Saints, Johnny Gat. Welcome to Sain’t Row IV: Gat out of hell, a standalone expansion pack to Saint’s Row IV.

Volition released the big news a few moments ago on the PlayStation. Blog.  The game will feature it’s own unique features, gameplay, and city, completely seperate from SRIV. The goal here is to completely conquer the domain of hell itself, meaning to defeat Satan. With that, a whole new multitude of enemies, foes, and gameplay mechanics will take place. It’s safe to say there will be plenty of nods to games like Dante’s Inferno (2010) and the legendary Doom series.    Kate Nelson of Volition has more to elaborate on,

“ Our brand new city of New Hades features five distinct islands including a barren wasteland of an ancient war, a towering downtown for Hell’s elite, and a crammed slums built for ultimate suffering. This new environment is specifically catered to one of our new supernatural powers: angelic flight! With angelic wings, our Saints will terrorize the ranks of Hell’s armies from ankle-biting imps to massive Arch-Demons.”

Saint’s Row IV was released last year to stellar critical acclaim. it wasn’t easy getting this far, especially as their original home, THQ, collapsed and dissolved. However, Deep Silver bought the franchise, allowed the game to be developed, and the result was a huge success. Following the release of Saint’s Row IV were two expansion packs: Enter the Dominatrix, the original expansion to Saint’s Row The Third (2011), and How the Saints Saved Christmas. As a standalone expansion pack, this means you do not need to own Saint’s Row IV. But then again, you really should own it! Now! We here at Dual Pixels LOVED the game and it’s expansions. You can find those reviews by clicking right here.

Saint’s Row IV: Gat Out of Hell will send you down to the underworld on January 27th, 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3! Get Ready!

" I'm Not a program. I'm a user." Sam Flynn, Tron: Legacy (2010) To best describe is that ambition and a willing to do something are two of my strongest traits. They've allowed me to go places and do things. Extraordinary things. Maybe not change the world but make someone feel pretty damn good. I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. From the days of the Nintendo SNES and the SEGA Genesis to the PlayStation 3 and the Playstation Vita, gaming has been a big part of me. I like them for their art, creativity, gameplay, and most importantly, FUN! Fun is what matters. What's the point in playing a game if it is not fun? Everything else is secondary. Now I game on Sony's platforms as a member of the PlayStation Nation. I'm a gaming enthusiasts and I respect other games and their platforms (At least when they are not restricting me) PSN ID: Vectorman88
