Epic Games Acquire People Can Fly

Developers of Bulletstorm, People Can Fly, have been fully acquired by Epic Games. Although they were the majority shareholders since 2007, Epic Games now has full control of People Can Fly and will be following up with announcements in the future.

Epic’s Mark Rein said to Polygon in an interview: “We doubled down on People Can Fly,” Rein said. “It was something we always hoped to do.”

People Can Fly was said to be looking forward to future projects, in which the buyout helped them maintain.

“We hooked them up right away,” Rein said. “They did a really cool prototype, awesome art and design.”

I’m excited for the future projects both Epic and People Can Fly hold, with Bulletstorm behind them, let’s hope the same charm of that title will be reproduced in their next game.
