New SOMA Trailer is Reminiscent of Bioshock and Amnesia

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water. The makers of the cult horror hits Penumbra and Amnesia are dragging you down to the murky depths in their new game with a cryptic acronym for a title: SOMA. The description of the game on Frictional Games’ website is also appropriately brief:

The radio has gone silent on PATHOS-2. As isolation bears down on the staff of the remote research facility, strange things are happening.

Machines are taking on human traits and alien constructions have started to interfere with routine. The world around them is turning into a nightmare.

The only way out is to do something unimaginable.

SOMA will be released on the PS4 and PC in 2015

While I've traveled the world since the tender age of 6 I have never been far from the world of video games. I currently live in the Netherlands and aim to provide an international perspective on gaming culture to the ravenous audience of Dual Pixels. My favorite genres are first or third person action-adventures and western role playing games. That being said, I play everything I can on my PS4 and PS Vita.
