Behold the Stellar New Trailer for Interstellar

With news of rapidly collapsing Antarctic ice and humanity’s generally panicked response to the increasingly traumatic evidence that the earth is fed up with our greenhouse gas creating monkey business, Hollywood’s response is to try and provide us with a message: we need to get the hell off of this rock. Not very calming, or hopeful that us and mother Earth will live happily ever after, but then again, Roland Emmerich has proven time and again that our ruination is far more entertaining.

In making Interstellar, Christopher Nolan, still riding the wave of positive karma from the Dark Knight trilogy, is now going to be given the chance to walk the fine line between exploitative hand wringing over our industrialized malfeasance and providing us with a fantastical beacon of possibility that is as grounded as he can make it. Based on this trailer, and Matthew McConaughey’s recent track record, I think he might just be able to do it.

But why don’t you see for yourself:

While I've traveled the world since the tender age of 6 I have never been far from the world of video games. I currently live in the Netherlands and aim to provide an international perspective on gaming culture to the ravenous audience of Dual Pixels. My favorite genres are first or third person action-adventures and western role playing games. That being said, I play everything I can on my PS4 and PS Vita.
