E3 2014: Warframe Releasing On Xbox One, Gold Required to Play

Its been heavily rumored that Warframe the Free-2-Play Online action game would be coming to the Xbox One for quite some time now. It’s now official Warframe will be releasing on the Xbox One as one of the first titles rolling out of the [email protected] , which allows indies to self publish their own games on the Xbox One. Warfame will be free to play only if you have Xbox Live Gold, Steve Sinclair Creative Director at Digital Extremes has said:

Bringing Warframe to Xbox One is a no-brainer. Our players have been asking for Warframe since the debut of the console and with the [email protected] Program, now we can make it happen. Having the freedom to develop and publish Warframe on our own terms is the true definition of independence to us. Warframe is a passion project for our team and building it alongside our players is a reality now with digital distribution.

Expect Warframe on the Xbox One later this year on the Xbox One as one of the first titles releasing on [email protected], expect more info on release date in the upcoming months.
