Tony Hawk and Activision Working On a New Console Game for 2015

Tony Hawk, world famous skater and face of the Pro Skater series of games, is working with publisher Activision on a new console game in 2015.

The Tony Hawk Pro Skater games burst onto the scene back in 1999 for the Playstation 1 and then later, the Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color and the N-Gage. The series has spawned many sequels and spin-offs, including the Wii Launch title, Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam. The last console game Tony and ACTI collaborated on was the HD remake of the first Pro Skater game which was met with less than favorable reviews.

Let’s hope this new project can live up to the lofty expectations that the earlier games in the series have set. No word yet on what platforms the game will be on.

Rob's been gaming since he was a wee lad. It all started with a NES, and a Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt combo cart one Christmas morning. Since then, he's been an avid lover of all things video. He also likes comics, manga, movies, long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners and dogs. Rob is also quite adept at speaking in the third person.
