Supernova, New MOBA From Bandai Releasing This Year

MOBA’s (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) have become insanely popular in such a short amount of time due to the likes of League of Legends and Dota and their streamability on Twitch. And now, even Bandai Namco is jumping on the train with their free-to-play title, Supernova. Supernova, a PC exclusive releasing later this year, adds an RTS mechanic within the lane driven framework. Primal Game Studio has added a mechanic where you’ll be able to upgrade your minions though progression and a crafting mechanic to create a more varied and strategic experience.

Set within a scifi environment, you will play as either Humans or Aliens battling for survival. It’s nice to see more players stepping up in the MOBA space and hopefully Bandai Namco can add their own flair to the genre.

The game is releasing later this year, but if you are interested in signing up for a spot in the Alpha (which is starting today), click here.
