SDCC Artist Spotlight: J. Scott Campbell

Even as someone who is fairly new to comic books, J. Scott Campbell is one of the most recognizable artists in the industry. Last year at SDCC, I stumbled onto his booth during preview night. I was so captivated by the art that I immediately got in line to buy some. Little did I know that J. Scott Campbell was on his way to the booth to sign anything that you bought. He was the nicest guy and took the time to have a brief conversation with everyone who purchased an item from his booth. He and his team made the experience extremely enjoyable, and I can’t wait to go back to his booth again this year.

Scott Campbell is well known for many of his Marvel comic book covers as well as the series Danger Girl, which I highly recommend. He also features art based on fairytales like Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. His art is beautiful and always full of great characters and color. Whether you want the perfect Mary Jane Watson or a unique take on a fairytale, J. Scott Campbell is bound to have something for you.

San Diego Comic Con is definitely a great place to find J. Scott Campbell’s art, but his online store is always stocked with new prints and exclusive comic books. You can sign up for his newsletter to be the first to know about upcoming exclusives that you can buy first.

Be sure to stop by his booth, 4601, and check out his art at the below links.
