Dark Souls Remastered Announced for the Switch, PS4, And Xbox One

Dark Souls Remastered was announced earlier today during the Nintendo Direct and yes that fully means we are getting a Switch version of Dark Souls but the remastered edition is releasing on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC simultaneously May 25th. Dark Souls Remastered will feature the usual visual updates to the title it will be running on the Nintendo Switch at 720p handheld/1080p docked resolution running at 30fps.

On the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One expect a native resolution of 1080p and 60fps, while the Playstation 4 Pro and the Xbox One X run at a Dynamic 4K resolution. Dark Souls Remastered will also include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC and improved online mode now featuring 1-6 players.

Lastly launching exclusively on the Playstation 4 is the Dark Souls Trilogy Box Set which will feature all the Dark Souls titles and DLC, soundtracks, art book, and a Dark Souls Bookend. The Dark Souls Trilogy box will run you $499.99 and will be releasing soon with the release of Dark Souls Remastered.
