Dead or Alive 6 Season Pass 1 Details + World Championship

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja were very excited to show us what they had in store for Dead or Alive 6 at EVO Japan 2019. Team Ninja has revealed what will be included in the upcoming season pass 1 for Dead or Alive 6.

Season Pass 1 will include 2 guest characters, one being Mai Shiranui which was in Dead or Alive 5 so its nice to see her return. The other character at the moment hasn’t been revealed but we do know the character will be coming from SNK beloved King of Fighters franchise.

Also included in Season Pass 1 will be the inclusion of 62 new costumes for the cast, releasing first would be the DOA6 Happy Wedding Costumes Vol. 1 and 2, DOA6 New Costumes set Vol. 1 and 2, and additional character costumes for the two SNK fighters. Season Pass 1 bonuses will also feature new NiCO and Nyotengu costumes. All Season Pass 1 content will be made available between March and June 2019.

Koei Tecmo will be releasing a Dead or Alive 6 Deluxe Demo which will include all the characters from the final game at release. Which will consist all the modes you would expect at launch. Players can play online ranked matches, training, and even play a bit of the story mode. Again all characters will be available with all hairstyles and glasses.

Last thing Koei Tecmo has announced is the introduction to Dead or Alive having its own E-Sports championship. Qualifiers will be held in North America, Europe, and Asia; with each region’s top players competing at the Grand Finals in Japan. Qualifiers and Grand Finals total prize will be equivalent to 10 Million Yen (JPY) which is about 90k USD.  The Dead or Alive Deluxe Demo launches January 22nd through January 24th for Playstation Plus and Xbox Live Gold Members. Dead or Alive 6 launches March 1st Worldwide on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
