Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay | EA Play

After the cancellation of Star Wars 1313, it seemed all hope was lost in getting a single player game set in the Star Wars universe. Enter Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. EA has revealed 15-minutes of gameplay (approximately 3-hours into the campaign) at EA Play to give us a look into the Star Wars Universe after Order 66.

The gameplay segments span various locations and gives a taste at how free-flowing you can be with the lightsaber combat. It feels like a mix of The Force Unleashed with the storytelling and locomotion bits of the Uncharted franchise. Some well-known characters and droids make an appearance in the 15-minute segment. There’s no doubt that the game has the feel of Star Wars, but my only concern lies in how easy it looks. If the difficulty is there, and I’m not saying it has to be FromSoftware difficult, but there has to be a challenge to encourage lightsaber creativity.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release Nov. 15, 2019 on PS4, XBOX One and PC.
