More Details On Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

After that explosive first trailer starting off the PlayStation 5 reveal event. Insomniac Games have given us a bit more detail on what we should expect to see in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Insomniac Games is very proud of the work they are doing with this title as we are going to see Miles grow as a character. Here are a few quotes from Brian Horton, Creative Director at Insomniac Games, regarding where they are taking Miles:

“As we continued with the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, we knew that Miles’s origin story as a Spider-Man was something that needed its own game. Miles’s multicultural background reflects a more modern, diverse world and we wanted to give players a new story, with new set-pieces, fresh villains, and unique quests across Marvel’s New York City. This had to be a can’t-miss next adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe.”

Moving forward with the world being more modern and diverse, you will be swinging through the Winter in New York. During Christmas break, a war between an energy corporation and a high tech crime gang has broken out in the heart of Harlem, Mile’s new home.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will make use of the PlayStation 5’s power with Ray-Tracing effects, near instant load times, 3D audio, and the new Dual Sense controller. Many of the city’s assets have been updated to take advantage of the PlayStation 5. Insomniac Games has also mentioned that the game will be closer to Uncharted: Lost Legacy in scope, which was a complete spin off of Uncharted 4.

Spidey fan unite as Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be releasing this holiday season exclusively on the PlayStation 5.
