Japanese gamers won’t be seeing PS4 until early next year but that hasn’t stopped them from camping retailers to pre-order their console. Today, October 5th, web and physical retailers of Japan opened the floodgates for gamers to secure their PS4 ahead of launch…and that fast they were gone. A multitude of retailers including Yodabashi Camera, Bic Camera, Sofmap, Edion, Rakuten Books, Nojima, and Joshin weathered the Sony storm for a couple of minutes before their stock had been thoroughly depleted, with Amazon Japan lasting just over a half-hour.
PS4 releases in Japan February 22nd, 2014.
