If you weren’t fortunate enough to snag a beta code for Respawn Entertainment’s new game, Titanfall, you are in luck! Vince Zampella, co-founder of Respawn, has just tweeted that they will be putting their servers through a “max stress test†and opening it up to all Xbox One users. PC users will get a crack at the beta as well but those details are a little uncertain at this time, although Zampella did hint at tomorrow as a very real possibility. Larry Hyrb, more famously known as Major Nelson (Director of Programming for XBL), also noted on his blog that the beta will open up to everyone but some users may see the beta sooner than others and to be patient.
Instructions on how to download the Titfanfall Beta via Major Nelson’s Blog:
To download the beta, sign in to your Xbox One and head to the “New Game Demos†section of the Game Store and it will appear there. You can also say “Xbox Bing†then “Show me game demosâ€.
Keep in mind, this is indeed a beta and will certainly run better once the remaining bugs are hammered out before release. Having said that, the beta has been getting rave reviews across the internet and we’d love to hear your feelings on the beta. Titanfall is set to release on March 11, 2014 in North America on Xbox One and PC. The Xbox360 version suffered a minor delay and will be released on March 25 in North America.
