Looks like we won’t be seeing the conclusion of the Arkham series until June 23 as Sefton Hill, Rocksteady Games Director, has just revealed that the game has been delayed. As of this moment, no reason have been given for the delay, but you can read Hill’s comments below.
Batman: Arkham Knight will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015. We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.
Thanks so much from everyone at Rocksteady for your continued support. We are working as hard as we can to make you proud.

Three weeks isn’t an egregious delay considering many games suffer far worse, but the game was originally slated to come out last October. So, it’s safe to say we are more than ready. While the game has suffered a slight delay, they have released a new trailer, “Officer Down,†and man, does it look fantastic. Check that out below.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 23, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and Pc.
