Scorpion delivered arguably one of its most important episodes to date. I have always loved how this show has portrayed the geniuses. The showrunners always make sure to give us an idea of how different these men and women are and how important it is to understand and accept those differences.

Ralph and his classmates are on a field trip, when a kid in school, Daniel, was having trouble with the noises from a car engine. His tablet was frozen, so Ralph helped him. Daniel has nonverbal autism.  Ralph understands what it feels like to be misunderstood and shows Daniel how to fix his tablet which he uses for communication. At the end of the field trip, Daniel is missing. On the security footage, a man can be seen taking Daniel’s tablet assuming it’s meant for him from a dead drop, and Daniel walks away with the man’s tablet.

The man turned out to be part of an international ring of mercenaries. Now the team must find Daniel, who ran off when he realized he was in danger. Since he sees the world differently from everyone else, the team works to get into his mind space. Toby understands how he sees things and which direction he would head. When they catch up with Daniel, the mercenary is there too. The Scorpion team has to save Daniel from drowning in a silo. All’s well that ends well, and Daniel gets home safely.

Daniel and his mother are so grateful for everything that Team Scorpion did for them. Daniel was able to tell the Scorpion team how happy he was for Ralph and the team. He thanked them for understanding that there is a person and a mind inside his body. It was so sweet and so humbling. What a touching moment.

Now Walter could learn a thing or two from Daniel. He had to write evaluations of everyone on the team. He couldn’t seem to find the right words, so he didn’t write any. Paige reminded him that the team could use some positive reinforcements. Well he tries to tag onto what Daniel says, but they see right through that. At least he gets some points for effort.

At the beginning of the episode, while everyone is bored without a case, Toby goes to see Mark in prison. Toby knows that Mark is one of the only other people who knows the identity of Happy’s husband. Toby agrees to talk to the prosecutor to get Mark in a better facility in exchange for the name of her spouse. Of course, it can’t be that easy for Mark. He ends up giving Toby a riddle. “The water doesn’t lie still, but the water still lies. At 50 and your answer will be revealed.”

When Toby finally cracks the code, he realizes that in roman numerals, 50 is L. When adding that to water, he gets Walter. It turns out Happy is married to Walter. Did anyone see that coming? It was of course for his green card. They claim that they have to wait two more years before getting a divorce or else Walter could get deported. But this is Team Scorpion! I’m sure they can figure out a way.

And it turns out that Happy needs that divorce now, and she needs to marry Toby. Cabe noticed that Happy seemed off during the entire case. Plus she was constantly asking about kids with Paige. Well, the cat is out of the bag; Happy is pregnant. And she wants to marry Toby now. I’m sure they can figure out a way to make it work.

WHAT IS DUAL PIXELS?

Dual Pixels is more than just an organization, it's a culture. The interactive arts are our passion, this includes gaming and innovations brought forward with technology. The beauty of being an independent organization is the fact that we have the opportunity to bring back the enthusiasm in a gaming industry which is becoming increasingly corporate and stale. The Dual Pixels brand is full of perspective hence the reason why we also go by the appellation "The Digital Crossover".
