Square Enix has revealed that Heavensward, Final Fantasy XIV’s first expansion, will be released on June 23, 2015. After the tumultuous launch of the original game in 2010, which then led it being pulled and relaunched as ‘A Realm Reborn’ a year later, it’s amazing that the product is garnering as much love as it is and is popular enough to encourage an expansion. The expansion will include new zones, jobs, cinematics and more. In addition to the expansion, Mac users will finally get to play ‘A Realm Reborn’ as it is set to release for OSX users the same day as the expansion.
