Square Enix Presents event revealed Life is Strange: True Colors developed by Deck Nine Games, the developers behind Life is Strange: Before the Storm, in collaboration with Square Enix External Studios. Life is Strange: True Colors features an all-new cast of characters and a new mystery to solve. You take control as Alex Chen who has long suppressed her ‘curse’, which is the psychic power of Empathy, a supernatural ability that allows her to experience, absorb and manipulate the strong emotions of others.
Alex sees these emotions in different color auras. Alex must uncover what’s going on in Haven Springs after the so-called accident which killed her brother Gabe. Alex must investigate to find the truth as Haven Springs has dark secrets buried around every corner. While exploring Haven Springs, Life is Strange: True Colors brings you an exclusive soundtrack with new tracks by mxmtoon and Novo Amor, and licensed songs including Radiohead, Phoebe Bridgers, Gabrielle Aplin and much more.
This will be the first title in the series that will be releasing in its entirety. That’s right, no more waiting around to play the next chapter. Life is Strange: True Colors is slated for release on PlayStation 5®, PlayStation 4®, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC Steam, Windows Store, and Google Stadia on September 10, 2021.
Also revealed during the event, Life is Strange Remastered Collection. A new edition of the critically acclaimed Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm featuring all-new enhanced graphics and animations. More specifically, players can expect “vastly improved character animation using full facial mocap performance”. The Life is Strange Remastered Collection is coming to Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One as a digital release.
