It’s that time of year again. Those cheery holiday tracks. That refreshing merry sensation. Trees and reefs going up everywhere with snow blanketing the grounds. In it all, the sounds of the Holiday saeason. The tues of Christmas echo through the air and all around us. Of course, this is the time where we hear that very famous piano orchestra, zoom in on that stage, and see CHarlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, and the rest of the peanuts gang dance aimlessly to Christmas. This makes it the perfect time for the new, full, theatrical unveiling of the first Peanuts trailer.
Released yesterday, Blue Skies Studios and 20th Century Fox released a new, full trailer for their new movie, Peanuts, based on the works of beloved artist Charles Schultz. The trailer doesn’t show any narrative but ti more of a vehicle to showcase the video and audio presentation the movie will have, which is quite spot on. The Peanuts cartoons, especially the Christmas ones, have been well-known for their artistic, unique style. Somehow, even in the age of cutting edge computer generated imagery, the production crew have actually managed to capture the charming essence of the cartoon in 3D. THe trailer is quite impressive.
Look for the Peanuts to land in theaters next Christmas.
