Lucifer continues its streak of strong episodes. Lucifer still isn’t entirely sure what to do with his mother, and he’s having a hard time juggling the women in his life. Amenadiel still hasn’t seen his mother and continues to hide his dying wings. Chloe and Dan struggle to find footing in their relationship and come to a difficult decision.
So Lucifer made a deal with his father to take his mother back to Hell, but so far, he hasn’t done that even with his mother seriously cramping his style. She scared away a woman Lucifer was entertaining. Charlotte says that the only thing she wants now is to see her other son, Amenadiel. Lucifer is afraid that Amenadiel will immediately take her back to Hell, and he’s clearly not ready to have her gone from his life again.
In the case of the week, it seems that someone new has taken to punishing people. The victims are from a popular social media site called Wobble. People load videos to Wobble, and they aren’t always appropriate. Even though Wobble would take down the videos, they have already been seen.

Nevermind the fact that someone is out there becoming a serial killer; Lucifer only cares about why this killer has become a punisher. Initially Lucifer thinks that no one would choose to be a sin eater, and the job at Wobble forced the punisher to take these lives. It isn’t until he confronts the actual punisher that Lucifer realizes that he likes to punish these people. The punisher has actually become part of the problem; he is someone who deserves to be punished.
Chloe and Dan are having trouble with their relationship, and it is starting to affect Trixie. They planned a family camping trip, but Chloe isn’t so sure that it’s a good idea. She doesn’t want to drag Trixie into their issues. After their case, Chloe realized that they should just do the camping trip and not let their problems get in the way. Now, Dan is backing out of the trip because he thinks that they’ve been living in the past for too long. He knows that they aren’t any good for each other and says that it’s time that they get a divorce. I didn’t realize that they were only separated and not officially divorced. It’s hard to tell how Chloe is going to react to this. She seemed both to understand and to be hurt.
We didn’t get a whole lot of Maze and Linda this week, but we did get a nice scene of the two of them at Lux. Linda is still trying to help Maze become a better version of herself, but Maze is too focused on Lucifer’s mother being in town. Of course, Linda thinks that Maze is just jealous of a new woman in Lucifer’s life. Maze assures her that she just wants Charlotte to get what she deserves. Linda thinks that Maze should just talk to Lucifer. Maze knows that he won’t listen to her, but he might listen to Amenadiel.

Amenadiel isn’t doing so hot and is feeling sorry for himself in his fake psychiatrist office. When Maze comes to talk to him, he’s cleaning up feathers up off of the floor from his dying wings. Maze just thinks that he’s trying to cover up sleeping with another woman. He’s happy to let her think that, so he doesn’t have to tell her the truth.
When Amenadiel is ready to talk to Lucifer, he goes to Lux. He runs into Charlotte who outs herself as his mother. Amenadiel decides to not take his mother back to Hell; although, can he? With his dying wings, I’m not sure that Amenadiel could take her to Hell even if he wanted to. Lucifer decides that it’s his turn to lay out his punishment for Charlotte. He admits to enjoying punishing people because it makes him happy. He tells his mother that she must remain on Earth amongst the creatures she so despises as one of them. She must resume life as Charlotte Richards. She was not expecting that one.
