Today Ubisoft has announced Rayman Legends for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One and will be available February 25th 2014. Snoop Dogg joins Rayman in the announcement trailer as he jumps into the TV and is transported to Rayman’s world, The project is a partnership with Makers Studios collaborative gaming and geek culture network Polaris (which can be seen below). Alongside the announcement each console are getting exclusive features, the Xbox One version includes 10 exclusive challenges to unlock new time-limited Achievements.
While the Playstation 4 version will allow use of the Playstation®4 controller’s touchpad for actions such as scratching Lucky Tickets, as well as making and sharing screenshots and videos with the community, and using the Playstation® Vita to continue playing the game even with the TV turned off. Ubisoft has also created a online demo which you can play via your web browser at Rayman Legends home site, it features 3 levels and gives you a glimpse on what to expect if you haven’t played the Rayman series.
