Bandai Namco have always been very welcoming allowing guest characters to join the cast of Soul Calibur. From the likes of Link, Spawn, and many more and from the looks of this latest rumor another great swordsman joins the battle. Geralt of Rivia has been hinted to join the characters of Soul Calibur VI, a report coming in from Lets Play Video Games anonymously.

While many have vetted the rumor a tweet coming over from CD Projekt Community Lead Marcin Momot further confirms we will see Geralt sometime this year. Here is the tweet:

What if Geralt was going to step out of the @witchergame for the very first time to make an appearance in one of the upcoming games later this year? pic.twitter.com/dMTn1Im6HD

With that being said it is very likely we will see Geralt join the cast, but who knows at this point with Bandai Namco hopefully more would be revealed soon.  Soul Calibur VI will be releasing later this year so stay tuned.
