As we slide into the stacked months of game releases, we mustn’t forget that the Wii U does indeed have quite the lineup with Bayonetta 2 being a noteworthy release. Platinum Games’ Bayonetta introduced gamers to the wonderful world of Vigrid and had us hacking and slashing through enemies in particularly exciting ways. While not being Call Of Duty popular, it was well received by critics and gamers alike and begged for a sequel, we just didn’t know it’d be exclusive to a new platform.
Bayonetta 2 is a direct sequel that features a new coop online mode entitled Tag Climax, as well as the ability to use various costumes from Nintendo franchises. Rodin, the shopkeeper is making a return from Bayonetta and will be a playable character in the newly announced coop mode. To add to the package, all retail copies will include a port of the original Bayonetta. The port allows the player to choose various costumes of Nintendo’s tentpole franchises. Peach, Daisy, Samus and Link can be used in Bayonetta and are unlockables in Bayonetta 2.
