The Sunday schedule, the final day of San Diego Comic Con, is here. This year is proving to be very light for Sunday scheduling, but that just means these panels may be extra chill. With no programming in Hall H, Ballroom 20, and Indigo Ballroom, all the Sunday panels will be smaller crowds and more intimate. Check out four of the panels we chose for Day 4 of Comic Con.

Why We Chose this Panel: Images Comics is a forever favorite, and this panel seems very interesting. If you have not had the pleasure to read Sweet Paprika by Mirka Andolfo, try it out. Her adult humor is wonderful, and you’re going to fall in love with Paprika, especially when she drives you crazy. Seeing the amount of comic book talent that is coming to the convention, the surprise panelists could be any one of your favorite writers or artists. This is sure to be a fun and chill panel for the last day of Comic Con.

Why We Chose this Panel: There are such a wide array of comic books to enjoy, but for fans of horror, this panel proves to bring together some of your favorites from the genre. Plus, you might just discover a new writer or series to try out. And what a great time and place to get some new comic books, especially if you’re traveling back home after the convention and need some new reading material to pass the time.
Manifest: Last Call for Flight 828 – Manifest (sched.com)
Time: Sunday July 23, 2023 2:15pm – 3:15pm PDT
Location: Room 6DE
Description: After a triumphant fan and creatives campaign for more of the series Manifest, on June 2, Netflix released the final 10 explosively compelling episodes. Celebrate creator Jeff Rake’s entire Montego Flight 828 saga, and join this panel for all the callings, mysteries, ’ships, heartrending storylines, plus a few surprises. Grab your final boarding pass. It’s all connected! Moderated by Marcia Middleton (Manifest the Netflix TV Show Group), with Eric LeBlanc (The Weekend Geeks), Justin Toney (The Weekend Geeks), and Sheila Middleton (Superfan).
Why We Chose this Panel: Manifest was revived by Netflix to continue the story about a plane full of people that mysteriously disappeared for five years. Those on the plane didn’t age, nor do they have any recollection of what happened. To them, no time has passed. The mystery has become a fan favorite over the past few years, and this panel could be a lot of fun. While it’s a shame that more people from behind the show won’t be there, if you’re a superfan, you’re sure to have a good time.
Start making your plans now for panels you want to try, and always have a backup plan. Don’t forget that you won’t make it to every panel, but there’s plenty to do each and every day.
