The episode we’ve been waiting for finally came with “Fighting Fire with Fire.” Prometheus is revealed once and for all, but the Arrow team has yet to see behind the mask. Meanwhile, as mayor, Oliver is dealing with impeachment hearings and trying to keep his administration afloat.

Mayor Queen has to undergo impeachment hearings after the accusations of the coverup of Billy Malone’s death. Oliver wants to tell a version of the truth to the press, but Chase wants to take full responsibility. Oliver won’t accept that and actually asks that Chase be his lawyer in all of this. The medical examiner testifies that the mayor instructed the DA to bury the report of the Green Arrow killing Billy Malone. They framed Prometheus for the death, which is only a slight stretch of the truth. The police chief testifies about the mayor and the DA asking him to stop going after the Green Arrow. He asks a simple question; why would the mayor care about the Green Arrow? At this point, the hearings are not looking to go in Oliver’s favor.

Thea and Chase start to strategize on how to get out of these hearings alive. Thea has really thrown herself into politics and suggests a fairly shady move. She says that they should throw Billy to the wolves. If they go after him, then they may be able to keep Oliver as mayor. When that idea doesn’t work, Thea asks Felicity if she can use Pandora to find dirt on the council deciding on Oliver’s impeachment. Thea’s reasoning for all of this shadiness is that it’s politics, but is that a good reason to ruin people’s lives?

We finally get another look at the Vigilante, and it’s clear now that Chase is not who I thought he was. The Vigilante is going after Oliver because of his corruption as the mayor. Of course, Prometheus has been playing the long con and isn’t happy that the Vigilante is going after his man. It is then that we finally get to see Prometheus unmasked, and he’s none other than the District Attorney, Adrian Chase. My suspicions that we didn’t really know everything about Chase were correct; I was just hoping that he was the Vigilante and not Prometheus. So, the Vigilante is still a mystery, but it’s clear that Prometheus has been right by Oliver this whole time.

Oliver finally understands what he must do. Oliver says he’s going to explain why he covered up what the Green Arrow did. He tells the press and the Star City public that he did it in a misguided attempt to cover up that the Green Arrow became a cop killer. He tells them that the Green Arrow failed the city. They look to him as a hero, but he says the Green Arrow has gone rogue. The Green Arrow is what’s keeping Star City from being the best that it can be. It looks like Oliver is going to have to focus on being the mayor and take a break from his night job, at least until Prometheus is caught. Oliver’s plea works, and he is allowed to remain the mayor of Star City.

The flashback this week shows the progression of Anatoly versus Gregor. Anatoly calls for a demand to examine the actions of Gregor. They need evidence that Gregor’s deal with Kova benefits Gregor and not the Bratva. Oliver proves that there is a lot of money that Kovar gives to Gregor that Gregor doesn’t disclose to the Bratva. He’s keeping the money for himself. In the end, the Bratva votes against Gregor. Anatoly is the new boss, but Gregor isn’t going down without a fight. I’ll be curious to see how all of this Bratva stuff ends.

Oliver is still upset with how Thea and Felicity handled Susan Williams. He asks Thea to make things right. When Thea doesn’t want to do that, Oliver goes to Felicity. Felicity gets Susan’s credibility back when an anonymous source reveals that it was all a lie; Susan never plagiarized her work. Susan is thankful to have her job back, and she tells Oliver that she will keep his secret. Now that we know that Chase is Prometheus, he starts making more moves against Oliver. Chase meets up with Susan and is clearly going to kidnap her or worse.

WHAT IS DUAL PIXELS?

Dual Pixels is more than just an organization, it's a culture. The interactive arts are our passion, this includes gaming and innovations brought forward with technology. The beauty of being an independent organization is the fact that we have the opportunity to bring back the enthusiasm in a gaming industry which is becoming increasingly corporate and stale. The Dual Pixels brand is full of perspective hence the reason why we also go by the appellation "The Digital Crossover".
