The Xbox Leadership Team had an update today, August 14th, 2013 regarding it’s launch plans for Xbox One. At E3 they announced the Xbox One would be available in 21 markets around the globe at launch. Things have changed since then.
This was an aggressive goal and the team has been working very hard to deliver Xbox One to as many markets as possible.
They claim their priority is to ensure that the customers will get the best Xbox One experience the first day of its availability. In order to make this possible they adjusted the number of markets that will get the Xbox one in November 2013. These markets are as follows:Â Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand.
We remain committed to launching Xbox One in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, as soon as possible in 2014.
