The Switch is finally getting some Monster Hunter love with Capcom releasing Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an update of Monster Hunter Generations on the 3DS, and the save data will carry over to The Switch.
This marks the first Monster Hunter for Switch available in the West. Monster Hunter XX was released last year exclusively to Japan.
After Monster Hunter World seemingly increased its reach across new gamers of the series, it’s almost certain that this release will be welcomed with open arms. Monster Hunter World brought about a ton of QoL adjustments to its UI, but these changes may not be present in the Switch title. Nevertheless, no one is going to turn down playing Monster Hunter on the go.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be released on The Switch on August 28.
