Bethesda, known for their sprawling single player titles, released a pretty strange video featuring Lynda Carter discussing how Bethesda aims to save single-player gamers. The video, which you can see below, is a bit cringe-worthy, but that doesn’t hide the fact that they are right. Although, I don’t feel that single player games are going anywhere, especially since indie developers do a fantastic job of filling that void. Having said that, there’s no doubt that AAA devs see more money coming from hemorrhaging its players via a multitude of microtransactions through various online forms of gameplay.
