Supergirl got to know what it was like to have an evil twin in “Bizarro.” What a great villain this week. Not only was Bizarro a good villain, but Maxwell Lord showed just how manipulative his power can be. Bizarro was Supergirl mirrored in every sense. She has fire breath and freeze vision to Supergirl’s freeze breath and heat vision. Seeing the two fighting is easily one of the best parts of the episode.

Well the secret is out; Bizarro Supergirl has made her appearance. I guess in this universe, no one knows about any Bizarro Superman. In any case, Alex and Kara are right to have their suspicions that Maxwell Lord is behind the evil doppleganger. The problem is that they have no proof. Plus, the DEO can’t just arrest Maxwell Lord. He’s a successful billionaire and human; people would actually miss him. But Lord believes that he is creating Bizarro for the good of mankind. He tells her, “We’ll change the meaning of life itself.” To which she replies, “Yes, my lord.” Oh boy, already this is a bad situation.

I was so happy to hear that Winn was back to Team Supergirl. Even though he isn’t thrilled about Kara dating Adam, he wants to help with Bizarro. He found seven Jane Does who were all comatose. They were “acquired” by Prometheus, one of Maxwell Lord’s subsidiaries. When Alex confronts Lord, he says that he thinks that he gave those girls a chance to live. He somehow got Supergirl’s DNA from Red Tornado which is how he made Bizarro.

The DEO had the brilliant idea to use kryptonite to hurt Bizarro, so they could capture her. Unfortunately, since she’s Supergirl’s exact opposite, the kryptonite only made her stronger. This time Bizarro went after Kara which means they know that Max knows Supergirl’s real identity and her relation to Alex. So, Alex arrests Maxwell Lord even though she really doesn’t have the authority to do so. This can’t turn out well, but who knows what they will do.

Bizarro, after a chat with Lord, decides to go after someone that Supergirl loves. Bizarro kidnaps James Olsen, and they have a little heart to heart. James tries to talk her down but ends up revealing his feelings for Kara in the process. James says to Bizarro about Supergirl, “I love her because of who she is, because she’s brave, because she’s kind, and she always tries to do the right thing.” Did he just admit that he loves her? How will this affect his relationship with Lucy? Thankfully, the DEO made an opposite to kryptonite to capture Bizarro. Supergirl hopes they can still help her.

Back at CatCo, Cat Grant is being way too nice to Kara. She got her own latte and even brought Kara one. Kara is extremely suspicious, but we all know why she’s being nice. Kara is the reason for Adam, Cat’s son, to still be in town. Kara and Adam even go on a couple of dates in this episode. They go to dinner and seem to be having a great time. Adam even tells Kara how incredible he thinks she is. But then people’s lives were in danger, so she had to leave.

On their second date, Kara was kidnapped by Bizarro, so it wasn’t a very good run for these two. At that point, Kara realizes that she has no room to be in a relationship with Adam at this time. She tries to let him down easy, but it clearly breaks his heart. Adam thought that it would be his baggage to break them apart. He was also hurt that he thought their meeting was fate, but Kara acted like it was an accident. They say goodbye, but Kara will be more affected by the changes in her day job. Cat is upset because Adam is leaving and wants her relationship with Kara to be strictly professional.
