Tom is beginning to question who to trust. Howard asks for one more thing to prove that Scottie is as evil as he claims. Meanwhile, a new case takes Solomon and Tom to the air posing as flight attendants.
Tom and Solomon go undercover as flight attendants when they get wind that flight “Borealis 301†is in danger. A group of rogue US military men are taking control of the plane to secure a package. They put knockout gas in the oxygen masks and incapacitated everyone on board. Tom and Solomon fight back, and end up in a couple of precarious situations.
Solomon jumps with one of the bad guys out of a plane and deploys his chute in the middle of nowhere. Still on board the plane, Tom has to level out the plane to save everyone on board including himself. Solomon uses the man he has captive to get to the rest of his team. They took their package from the plane, a woman named Jennifer Lynn. They believe that Jennifer has the blueprints to a missile called KR-20. It turns out that Jennifer has no idea what they’re talking about.
When Solomon and team finally get to their location, all of the bad guys are dead, except one. The sole survivor, Braddock, escaped with Jennifer Lynn. It turns out that Braddock is in love with Jennifer and planned the entire thing as a ruse to run away with her. It’s a good thing that Tom was able to save the passengers on the plane, so they didn’t have to die for this delusional man. The Redemption team saved Jennifer and took down Braddock. The case was definitely not the most exciting thing about this episode.
Howard is now convinced that Scottie sends secret encrypted messages to people she trusts. Howard asks that Tom retrieves the keyword. Once they have the keyword, they can crack the latest message. Tom finally does what I’ve been thinking the whole time. He questions Howard. He hasn’t seen any evidence to prove that Scottie is some secret double agent. Howard is sure that the encrypted message will prove everything, and Tom will believe him once more.
Scottie is ready to put Trevor on the payroll permanently. She asks for his weekly rate and for him to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) after she found herself talking a little too freely after one of their… sessions. She tells Trevor about a line item she saw in the Halcyon budget that she didn’t understand, Whitehall. Apparently Scottie tried to figure out what Whitehall was, and when she did, Howard made her the enemy. Trevor asks what Whitehall is, but Scottie realized that she was saying too much. Whitehall will remain a mystery.
Well Tom was successful; he brought the keyword, Falcon, to Howard. Howard pulls out the book cypher, a comic book. This is when Tom realizes that Howard may not have all of his marbles. He decides to go tell Scottie that he’s her son and come clean with her once and for all. It isn’t until he sees the same comic book peeking out from underneath some folders that he realizes that maybe Howard is onto something. Tom decides to take matters into his own hands and purchases his own comic book. When he figures out the encrypted message, he rushes over to an apartment. It looks like Scottie figured out that Howard is alive and well. Tom sees Solomon taking Howard into an SUV. Maybe Howard isn’t as crazy as we thought.
