Now that the White Martians know where M’gann is, they are after her. J’onn is happy to become the protector, but will it be enough? Kara is struggling with all of the relationships in her life, first with Mon-El and second with Alex.

M’gann is content to go about her business, but the White Martians will come for her. J’onn decides to be her personal bodyguard hiding in plain sight. He pretends to be a homeless man outside of the alien bar, and M’gann thinks he’s crazy. That is until a White Martian shows up ready to take M’gann back to Mars to pay for her war crimes.

Not only are the White Martians here to take M’gann, but M’gann’s own husband is on Earth to do the honors. Of course, he’s not a traditional husband; theirs was an arranged marriage. Her husband says that M’gann must turn herself over in two hours or else they go after her friends, Kara and J’onn. J’onn is ready to fight, even though M’gann clearly feels guilty putting her friends in danger.

Later at the DEO, M’gann is acting funny. It turns out that her White Martian husband is masquerading as M’gann to infiltrate the team. When the team fails to capture the White Martian, he goes back to hiding in plain sight. Who he could be is a mystery, but they eventually figure out that he’s hiding as Winn. Having Winn be a White Martian was a fun challenge for Jeremy Jordan, one I think he handled flawlessly.

They are trapped inside the DEO with a deadly White Martian who could literally be anyone, but Kara decides that it’s a good time to have a heart to heart with Alex. You see Alex canceled plans with Kara, but these weren’t just any plans on any day. They always spend Kara’s Earth birthday together aka the anniversary of the day Kara’s ship landed on Earth. Maggie got Alex amazing concert tickets to see her favorite band. I understand that Kara is upset, but Maggie doesn’t know the significance of the day; plus, Alex deserves to have something for herself even if that means they have to celebrate another time.

Well, Kara seems to understand that. She tells Alex how she knows she was being immature for being upset, but she’s just worried about Alex abandoning her. Kara doesn’t know what life is like without Alex there all of the time. Alex finally has a life of her own, and Kara is happy. She’s just not ready for so much change. As if that weren’t all hard enough to hear, it turns out that there are two White Martians in the DEO. Alex was the other one.

The White Martians activated the reactor at the center of the DEO. Should it explode, the reactor could take out ten city blocks. When they finally revive Winn and Alex, Winn has to restabilize the reactor before they take out part of National City. In the end, they all come together to save the day. Alex has vague memories of her conversation with Kara. Kara felt her slipping away, and she got scared. Alex wonders if maybe she is concentrating so much on their relationship because she doesn’t want to think about her true feelings for Mon-El.

Kara has been struggling with her personal life as of late. She decided at the end of last season to not pursue a relationship with James. She felt that she had to follow her heart and focus on herself. She still thinks that’s the case after Mon-El confesses his feelings for her. She tells him that she’s too busy being Supergirl and a young reporter. Mon-El feels bad about telling her his feelings because he says, “Earth males are only supposed to share their feelings about sports… and occasionally monster trucks.”

Kara tries to let Mon-El down easy, but somehow she keeps dissing him. She clearly hasn’t done this very often. In the end, Mon-El knows that they are just to stay friends, so he decides to move on. He ends up taking a girl from CatCo out on a date. When Kara sees them together, she’s clearly upset. I’m not sure why she can’t just admit that she may have feelings for him. She should just give it a shot. Even Alex thought so, but Kara isn’t sure that she’s ready to put herself out there. Maybe Mon-El attempting to move on will be the push she needs.

WHAT IS DUAL PIXELS?

Dual Pixels is more than just an organization, it's a culture. The interactive arts are our passion, this includes gaming and innovations brought forward with technology.
The beauty of being an independent organization is the fact that we have the opportunity to bring back the enthusiasm in a gaming industry which is becoming increasingly corporate and stale. The Dual Pixels brand is full of perspective hence the reason why we also go by the appellation "The Digital Crossover".
