Square Enix has just announced the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5Â Remix, a collection we told you about months back. The Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5Â Remix package includes the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 1, KH Re:COM HD, and KH 358/2 Days with Japanese voices all in HD. 358/2 Days won’t be a playable title (to our understanding), it will just be HD rendered cutscenes from the original title which released on the DS featured in this collection. The game is set to launch next year in Japan on PS3 and will also support trophies. Check out the teaser site here.
Apparently we had to make a few edits because Square Enix doesn’t title video games like normal people. The name of the title is Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. We’re assuming Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 2 will come in a “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX”.
PS: Nayslayers you may now eat crow
Thanks GAF!
That’s easy. Create an rumor from something obvious, keep it running for months, with “facts” all wrong, and then confirm the rumor as soon as possible like you knew it.
Haha. No, you didn’t tell us about this months ago. First of all, this is most likely split into two games. Second of all, it’s only on PS3. Not Vita or Wii U, like you said. Third of all, you don’t even have the CURRENT story correct. 358/2 Days is NOT on this. They only remastered the cutscenes from it as part of a ‘theater’ mode.

The secret movie in KH3D hinted at HD remasters. You didn’t somehow break news.
Hay this is Geno here. Allow me to clear something. Yes, I’ve known about this project for over a year. Often when an industry insider gets leaks from an employee, they are often are working on old builds and projects can change course at any time. When I found out about the HD Remakes for 2013, at the time they had all the games running on HD for Wii U, PS3 and Vita. They could have either scrapped the Vita (poor sales) or Wii U (unproven audience) or simply have not yet announced those platforms yet. Happens all the time. Bayonetta was originally 360/PS3/Wii U until SEGA ran out of money only for Nintendo to save it and my original list from E3 2010 had that game before it went off the radar. Just basically there is truth out there from me and Emily Rogers, just often it’s through a scanner darkly, not clearly.
@GenoNintendo Hay is for horses 😛 and how can you know about this. spammer 😛
