During an interview with CNN Turkey, Sercan Sulun, PlayStation Software Market Manager at Sony Eurasia, said this in regards to a question about The Last Of Us, “No, sequel is not coming right now as far as I know but I can say that first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics.”
As of now this must be approached as a rumor, but a leak from a high ranking exec from Sony itself leads us to believe there is some truth to the statement. Sulun also said it will come with all the DLC up until this point.
The Last Of Us was an exceptional game on PS3 and garnered high praise from reviewers and fans alike. If The Last Of Us does indeed make its way to its next-gen brother, PS4, it could ease the drought that is sure to come during the summer months. I am already pining for the idea of playing it via remote play.
