Talk of a new type has been the most discussed mystery in anticipation for the upcoming Pokémon X/Y, due this October. The latest suggestion: Fairy.

Could this be the answer to Sylveon? and possibly the new legendaries?

If it was Fairy, what would that make our beloved Clefairy? What would it be strong and weak against? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

I think it makes sense. I’ve always thought that those Pokémon like Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Audino couldn’t be the same type (normal) as other Pokémon like Rattata, Sentret, Tauros which look more like real animals. It totally makes sense for Sylveon, but I’m not so sure for Xerneas. Let’s see which attacks will gain this type, and which other of the old Pokémon will get it too, like Cherrim, Snubbull, Shroomish… I think we needed this new type since generation 5.

WHAT IS DUAL PIXELS?

Dual Pixels is more than just an organization, it's a culture. The interactive arts are our passion, this includes gaming and innovations brought forward with technology.
The beauty of being an independent organization is the fact that we have the opportunity to bring back the enthusiasm in a gaming industry which is becoming increasingly corporate and stale. The Dual Pixels brand is full of perspective hence the reason why we also go by the appellation "The Digital Crossover".
