If you need to scratch that, “super-human” itch, Rise of Incarnates is finally making its way to PC. Rise of Incarnates, the free-to-play 2v2 arena fighting game from Bandai Namco, is set to release on Steam Early Access on February 4th. It is continuing the trend of bigger publishers looking to Early Access as another avenue of release.

The game features eight playable characters that have superhuman powers, with a load of customization options. By signing up (here), you gain access to a gift set that includes a customization kit for each debut character. Each character will feature specific movesets and skills to help them battle through locations in New York and Paris.

While battling through New York and Paris, you’ll have the chance to play various modes including Versus matches, Arcade mode and Bot matches. As this game is Early Access, we can look forward to new maps, characters and other features as the game progresses.

Check out the trailer below for Rise of Incarnates.

I don’t know if anyone’s reading this but i’m gonna put this out right now: If Rise of Incarnates fails, Bandai Namco Studios will just use it as an excuse to keep Tekken and Tales on Consoles. Anyone who doesn’t want this to happen might be interested in this group http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TalesSeriesPCplz

Quite possibly true. I definitely have my hopes up for it, even though it’s not a genre I generally play.

The F2P hooks are just too much for me. I’m sure people love buying their characters piecemeal, but it definitely isn’t something I can get behind.
