With hundreds upon hundreds of booths littering the over 525,000 square foot convention floor, it’s no small wonder that the confines of the room are just teeming with talented artists. The mass confusion once the hall doors open to a deluge of crazed fans is what oddly made me run into Camilla d’Errico’s booth.

Camilla paints, draws, pencils colors (you name it and she does it) fantastical creatures in her very own style labeled “Pop Manga.” She pairs the ultra cute creatures with a rich and deep color palette. But, the only thing deeper than the color palette is the meaning behind each and every creature she brings to life. Art, as an expression, is one of the most powerful mediums there is, and she certainly pulls every ounce out of those in which she creates.

BeyondTheRainbow

One of my favorite pieces to this day is, “Beyond The Rainbow.” The second I laid eyes on it I just knew it had to be placed upon my wall. The exquisite juxtaposition of the beauty and sadness perfectly depicts similar emotions we all go through in our daily lives. Her pieces just have this perfect flow to them, and I’d be surprised if you could even walk by her booth and not stop to take a peek.

, 2/5/15, 1:38 PM, 8C, 8832x8316 (0+2280), 150{3a19833c997fa52158a43c449fe089ff048ac0506a335cac10721cfa396ff282}, Repro 2.2 v2, 1/15 s, R71.2, G45.2, B61.6

Whether it is a deeply emotional piece, or just something that you think just looks awesome (like her Comikaze 2015 exclusive) you will certainly be able to find what you are looking for here.

Be sure to stop by her booth, #4723, and visit her at the links below.
