Started early on in the pandemic, Sony’s Play at Home initiative was a way to keep gamers inside and safe as we work through the COVID-19 pandemic. The most recent game that was given away was Ratchet & Clank from 2016 (available until April 1). Now, Sony is upping the ante with 10 free games. Not only free with a PS+ sub, and not Free to Play during a certain amount of time, just 100% completely free. That is, so long as you download the games between March 25 to April 22. Like previous titles, you should be fine to just add them to your library. It is likely that you can do this via a web browser so this offer should be available for those that don’t even have the console.
The list of games includes:
- Abzû
- Enter the Gungeon
- Rez Infinite
- Subnautica
- The Witness
- Astrobot: Rescue Mission (PSVR)
- Moss (PSVR)
- Thumper (PSVR)
- Paper Beast (PSVR)
- Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition (April 19th)
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is certainly the standout, but that’s not to discount an amazing slate of indie titles. I was also shocked to see the amount of love PSVR is getting. Astrobot is one of the top 10 games of last gen regardless of it being on PSVR. Yes. It is that good.
Be sure to add the games to your library on March 25 (everything but Horizon) and April 19 (Horizon). Get more news on the Play at Home program on the official PlayStation Blog.
