Soon we might be moving with our DualShock controllers in a whole new way. Sony has recently patented a new PlayStation controller that merges the long living DualShock and PlayStation Move LED bulbs that are tracked by the PlayStation EYE; most importantly, the controller splits down the middle. Essentially, we’d think that the DualShock 3, which is also the Six Axis controller (without rumble), was an attempt at implementing motion controls within a core controller however many developers ignored the feature. Perhaps the “DualMoveShock”, with it’s ability to be in two places at once, could spark some developer enthusiasm in motion control if it comes to market.
