Being a competitive gamer is almost a full-time gig. I constantly have to practice to stay on top of my game, and communicate with my teammates to build  awesome synergy. During most 15 hour gaming sessions gamers seem to neglect their bodies, and just chug down whatever will give them immediate energy. This is bad habit and misconception in the competitive gaming scene that I wish to vanquish from this kingdom! I always put my body first before anything because its like a car, you get out what you put into it. But obviously not everyone has the time or luxury to work out or get a good meal in. This is where The Olivero Effect comes into play I will post a routine hopefully bi-weekly to help gamers around the world get in shape. I can take you from doing just 1 pull-up to doing 20 pull-ups. So to kick this off right I have posted a workout below for you to start with.

This is a small workout that can be done almost anywhere, and works out almost every muscle in the body

Push-ups: do as many reps as you can in 1 minute

Squats: do as many reps as you can in 1 minute

Lunges: do as many reps as you can in 1 minute

Calf Raises: do as many reps as you can in 1 minute

Sit-ups: do as many reps as you can in 1 minute

Rest 15 seconds in between each exercise movement, when you complete the entire rotation rest 2 minutes. The goal is to do 3 rotations of this entire routine, always keep track of what you did and how much you did of it.

I will post a video soon explaining the protocol for this routine and how to make it more difficult over time

My favorite types of games are RPG’s because of the depth of the stories and the characters they center around. Some of my favorite games/series are Pokemon, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, MineCraft, Monster Hunter, .Hack, Fire Emblem, JoJo and the Tales Of series.
