Tom Clancy, author known for the Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, and many other game titles has passed away at the age of 66. The New York Times confirmed that he passed away last night. Tom Clancy leaves behind his work with previous game series Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and even new IP Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Tom Clancy founded a game studio called Red Storm Entertainment in 1996 before they were acquired by Ubisoft in 2008.
