Nintendo will be suspending the production of its home console, the Nintendo Wii U, at the end of the year 2016 according to The Nikkei. So far, the Wii U has sold 12+Â million consoles in total as of the end of 2015. The Nikkei also reports the gaming giant won’t necessarily begin selling the Nintendo NX in 2016; however, it is rumored Nintendo will. The Japanese paper also reports certain Wii U accessories aren’t being sold anymore and that the company plans to deplete their inventories by year-end.
