Capcom has announced the return of their beloved Samurai action game Onimusha: Warlords. Onimusha: Warlords released back in 2001 on the playstation 2, introducing the world to Samanosuke Akechi and Ninja Kaede on their quest to save Princess Yuki from the evil lord Nobunaga Oda.
Onimusha: Warlords has been given a face-lift for this remastered release. Everything has been retouched, all characters and backgrounds have been given a HD upgrade for a clean visual experience. Widescreen Support is now available for Onimusha, you can also play it on 4:3 screen ratio  like the original. Also added to the display options is the Screen scroll feature which follows the movements of the player, showing areas that can’t be fully displayed  form certain positions.
This version of Onimusha: Warlords also makes many improvements to the gameplay, the biggest is the analog stick movement. Players can now move and make change of directions easily and changes the dynamic with the battle system. Easy mode is now unlocked at the start of the game unlike it’s original release.
Onimusha: Warlords will be released on January 15th, 2019 for $19.99 for the Playstation4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Â and Steam. Â Playstation 4 and Xbox will be getting both Physical and Digital Releases, while the Nintendo Switch and Steam versions will only be available digitally.
