Supergirl gave us a fight club-esque episode in “Survivors.” Seemingly peaceful aliens are ending up dead, and Maggie Sawyer is on the case. Meanwhile, M’gann seems to be enjoying herself as part of this fight club much to J’onn’s chagrin.

A new player is in town and doesn’t seem to care about alien rights. Roulette is putting on the alien fight club whether or not the aliens actually want to be involved. National City’s wealthiest wear masks and attend the fights, whose locations continue to move around. Thankfully, Kara has a powerful friend in Lena Luthor who continues to get the invitations. Supergirl shows up the break up the fights but finds herself part of the fight club against a particularly nasty alien named Draga.

M’gann seems to want to do the fight clubs. She tells J’onn that she has been wanting to fight ever since leaving Mars. She feels like she needs to fight to survive. J’onn has so many questions for M’gann, but she’s very hesitant about answering them. She claims that a White Martian actually helped her escape. J’onn wants to take the bond that Green Martians do when they share minds, but M’gann is not interested.

J’onn is disappointed that M’gann would want to be a part of this fight club, but she does it for herself. She wants to forget Mars. She explains that she has never killed anyone in the ring, but J’onn doesn’t care. And it seems that Roulette doesn’t care either. She brings both J’onn and M’gann back into the ring and asks them to fight to the death. J’onn says that he won’t fight, but M’gann knows that they have to fight. J’onn tries to explain that M’gann doesn’t have to fight to survive anymore. Thankfully, Supergirl is here to help.

Roulette is captured, but she has some powerful friends and doesn’t stay locked up for long. Roulette believes that she was never doing anything wrong. She says that the aliens aren’t people, so they have no rights. That may be true until the Alien Amnesty Act gets signed (if it ever does), but that still doesn’t make it right. For now, Roulette will go free. I wonder if we’ll see her pop up again sometime soon.

Mon-El can’t stand being cooped up at the DEO, but until they know the extent of his powers, they want him to stay locked up. There is one person who can be easily persuaded, and Mon-El goes directly to him. Winn buckles under the pressure, and they go out for a drink. Of course, Mon-El doesn’t have quite the same metabolism and manages to drink Winn under the table. Mon-El almost hurts a human and realizes that he was locked up to keep the humans safe from him not the other way around.

Kara just wants to help Mon-El adjust to Earth as his new home. She feels bad that she never got to help her cousin adjust, so she’s glad that she gets to be a mentor to Mon-El. So far, it seems that Mon-El only has super strength and can jump really high. He seems disappointed that his powers aren’t as advanced as Kara’s, but there’s a chance that he could keep developing more powers.

WHAT IS DUAL PIXELS?

Dual Pixels is more than just an organization, it's a culture. The interactive arts are our passion, this includes gaming and innovations brought forward with technology. The beauty of being an independent organization is the fact that we have the opportunity to bring back the enthusiasm in a gaming industry which is becoming increasingly corporate and stale. The Dual Pixels brand is full of perspective hence the reason why we also go by the appellation "The Digital Crossover".
