Steam Machines (aka consoles) will be coming to the market this year giving Valve the opportunity to expand their gaming service to the homes of many just as Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have done for so long. Your typical Steam Machine runs on standard DIY PC components such as Intel or AMD CPUs, Nvida or AMD Graphics Cards, and more components encased with the Steam Machine branding. iBuyPower’s Steam machine will contain a multi-core AMD Cpu, 500GB hard drive (not sure if HDD or SSD), WiFi, Bluetooth, and an AMD Radeon R9 270 graphics card. The AMD Radeon R9 270 is quite expensive running consumers at 180 bucks when purchased individually. iBuyPower’s Steam Machine could directly compete with the Xbox One if consumers gravitate towards it as the console Valve wants Steam Machines to be.
