No Man’s Sky is shaping up to be the most ambitious title of Hello Games’ career. Procedurally generated planets, the ability to launch from planet to planet, exploring entirely different ends of the universe than your friends and possibly meeting up in the middle one day, it’s hard to fathom the tech that goes into making this interplanetary adventure. Well, now you don’t have to! Game Informer has just done a series with Sean Murray, Founder of Hello Games, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the space exploration title.
No Man’s Sky should be on your radar, if only for the sheer fact that there are not enough space exploration games, especially on the consoles. While it is a huge departure from what the studio has previously produced, the game appears to be shaping up to be great. Little is known as to if the title will be retail or digital only, and even what price and on what platforms the game will come. Stay tuned this weekend as Hello Games has two time slots at the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas. On Saturday at 3:00 pm PST, they will be having a discussion and gameplay of No Man’s Sky. The same day at 9:00 pm PST, they will be putting on a presentation titled “A Night Under No Man’s Sky.†Luckily, for those that are unable to attend the PlayStation Experience, there will be a livestream on PlayStation’s Twitch channel.
