Quantic Dream has registered a domain for a title that is seemingly ment for a PS4 called Singularity. SingularityPS4.com, registered back in mid-November suggests the name of Quantic Dream’s new development is derived from their “Kara” tech demo in which David Cage sources the android Kara’s backstory from Ray Kurzweil’s book The Singularity is Near. The domain also lines up with a variety of other registrations by Quantic such as HeavyRainPS3.com and BeyondPS3.com that indicate the platform of development for the title. If this Singularity game is to come into existence it’ll likely have some sort of subtitle due to a conflict with Activision’s existing trademark of Singularity, Raven Software’s FPS that released last year. Currently the site just shows that it is a parked domain that’ll likely be populated and removed from public eyes soon. We’ll keep tabs on this development; for now check out Kara below.
